So... today on Sunday November 26 at 4:30 PM. I made my sixth and final visit to my area. It was sunny and about 43 degrees fahrenheit out. Today was a 9 hour 15 minute day. We had a sunrise at 8:00 am and a sunset at 5:15 PM. Some things a saw: Water level is going back down again.... you can see it on the trees: The leaves are dying and crinkling up: And there aren't any leaves on the trees anymore: You could only hear leaves and wind rustling and us walking with the leaves crunching under our feet today. Here are panorama's of my area... not sure exactly what happened:

Field visit 4

So... today on Sunday October 29 at 4:20 PM. I made my fourth visit to my area. It was cloudy and about 44 degrees fahrenheit out. Today was a 10.5 hour day. We had a sunrise at 8:15 am and a sunset at 6:45 PM. Some things a saw: The leaves and sticks are falling: The leaves are almost all off the trees: Water level was up again because of the rain: I herd the stream flowing, and my brother and me walking, but not anything else. I think that the birds are starting to move south. Also... it rained yesterday a lot so that's why I think we couldn't hear the leaves/ Here are panorama's of my area:

Field visit #3

So... today on Sunday October 15 at 3:30 PM. I made my third visit to my area. It was cloudy and windy and about 53 degrees fahrenheit out. Today was about a 11 hour day. We had a sunrise at 7:58 am and a sunset at 7:02 PM. Some things a saw: The water level was a lot higher (It's normally about at where the floating log that is in the water is): These leaves on these trees looked cool as they are changing colors: I herd birds chirping and some bugs making buzzing noises. I could also hear leaves rustling and the sound of the little stream flowing after all of the rain yesterday and last night! Here are 2 panoramas: Here I am for the pic that I need with me at my location:

Field study Test

Driving question: How does the clarity of the water change as it gets colder out? Hypothesis As it gets colder outside, the water will get clearer. Collect some water to test in the turbidity tube Make sure you are in a bright area Look down the tube Slowly let water out of the tube As soon as you see the pattern at the bottom, close the clamp to stop the water Record water level using the measurements on the side Materials: Turbidity tube Water from the pond Constant: Right at the end of the pond by the fallen tree part is where I’ll get my water At pond around 3. Fill the tube with water. This is my table: Water turbitity Date Trial1 Trial 2 Trial 3 Average of this time Average of the Averages Source: Beka Roelofs
